Meet the five year old disc jockey from Johannesburg- Oratilwe AJ Hlongwane, a.k.a DJ Arch. He holds a Guinness world record as the youngest club DJ in the world. At age 3, he emerged as the 2015 winner for the South Africa’s Got Talent show, winning the whooping $34,000 prize money.

He started playing on his dad’s stereo at the age of two-and-a-half, in a video recorded by his dad which eventually went viral on social media. From his audition on the SA Got Talent 2015- to his final performance, he left the crowd on their feet with his mixing and song selections.

In 2016, his dad sent a video of him playing to a crowd in an outdoor concert as an application for the world record. The application was denied as the position was for “club DJ’ and the setting wasn’t a club. He tried again but could concentrate for the entire hour. He finally beat the record in 2017.

His dad noticed his interest and talent in DJing when he was only 8 months old. His dad had bought him an ipad, but he also had some of his DJ apps on it and little Arch Jnr started trying out these apps. We are thankful for super dads who are help to urge kids to be their best.
